We are working since 1987, when the president Roman Kubala produced the first hand-held construction tools under the Kubala brand.

We are a family company, winner of the Forbes Most Valuable Family Businesses ranking for those who increase their value and at the same time "do it in an honest and transparent way.".

We design Construction hand tools designed with contractors' comfort, safety, and convenience in mind. We are the authors of 3 inventions, 2 trademarks, 10 industrial designs, 13 utility models, and 46 Community designs.

We produce in Ustroń tools in the assortment of over 700 products
and we deliver them to contractors in Europe, North America, Africa, Australia and Asia.

We communicate We connect with contractors virtually, via our website and social media. We use our own sales platforms, those of our distributors, and our retail network to maximize contractor time.

Beginnings in a home garage

Beginnings in a home garage

Not everyone knows, however, what the beginnings looked like... As befits any significant brand, they had to have their home in the garage. The first production facility was located in a home metalworks shop. It was there that the first construction tools were manufactured.

Revolution - Styrofoam trowel

The history of the Kubala brand is primarily the history of the Styrofoam trowel, which revolutionized the construction tools market at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s. Back then, competitors were producing tools that were much heavier and more expensive to make.

The simple but pioneering idea of using light and cheap polystyrene contributed to the rapid development of the company.

The first production hall

Just three years after the start of operations, production moved to a new hall, the team consisted of 20 people and production was carried out in two ways. In addition to construction tools, the offer included steel structures, which were exported to foreign markets from the very beginning.

1993

New locksmith shop and offices

The next stage of development saw the construction of a new locksmith shop and offices with a total area of nearly 3,000 m². Operating in the market for less than six years, Kubala has firmly established its position, supplying companies such as BMW and Mercedes with its products.

1996
A breakthrough year

A breakthrough year

The year 1996 was a turning point for the brand. During this period, the company's construction tools offering expanded significantly, including trowels, plastic and metal floats, and products made from new types of plastics and materials.

The company had enormous potential, building its own tool-making facilities. This was also a time of significant image changes and marketing work. In 1996, a new logo was created, which, with minor modifications, remains in use to this day.

The flourishing of business

The high demand for our products has led to significant business growth. The team has grown to 80 people, working together and celebrating successes. Additional press buildings and new warehouses total 15,000 m² of space, and our construction tools offering now includes several hundred products.

2004-2007

International expansion

Following domestic success, the time came for product expansion. 2004 saw the first international trade fair in Cologne, and after thirteen years, Kubala products are now present in numerous countries. At that time, the company's headquarters moved to a new building.

New horizons

To keep up with the growing demand for our products, it was time to expand our space. Another building was constructed, housing a metalworking shop, and plans for a completely new production hall were also included in the plans for the coming years.
Continuously working to ensure product availability in foreign markets, we also managed to send our first shipment to distant Algeria. In 2014, we participated in the prestigious construction fair in Dubai.

Development and promotion

The years 2018 and 2019 saw further promotion of the brand at home and abroad, at trade fairs such as PSB, Batimat, Eisenwarenmesse and on social media.

Academy of Good Practice

Responding to market needs and ongoing meetings with contractors, we have created a proprietary training program, which we call the Academy of Good Practice. Our instructors travel across Poland and Europe to train and familiarize contractors with Kubala products.
The training is targeted not only at construction wholesalers but also at construction schools, which we proudly support. Kubala has also been a partner of the "Build with Passion" Olympics for many years.

2021-2022

New production plant

2021 and 2022 will see the construction of a new production facility and offices. In 2022, we had the opportunity to participate in the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, our first trade show after the pandemic.

2023

New office building and production halls

2023 will be the year of the new office building and production halls. We also had the opportunity to participate as a tool supplier in the international Euroskills Olympiad in Gdańsk.
2023 in numbers: 55 countries on 4 continents, 16,000 m² of space, 731 products, 89 patents and designs.

Events, WOOD LINE and DEMOBUS

The year 2025 was a time of significant events and growth for our company. For the second time, we participated as a partner in EURO SKILLS POLAND and once again supported the Build with Passion Olympics, hosting young artists from across Poland at our headquarters.

We are proud that as a Polish company we support the largest construction events in the country.

This is also the year of the premiere of the new WOOD LINE – a combination of tradition, nature and the highest quality – and the purchase of the new DEMOBUS, thanks to which we are developing training in Poland and abroad.

2026

Cologne and a new range of tapes

The year 2026 is primarily about participation in the prestigious Eisenwarenmesse Köln Trade Fair, where we have been exhibiting as a manufacturer since the early 2000s.

We have also introduced a new range of products to the catalogue – MASKING TAPES and PLASTERING TAPES.
